1-NO is an exciting new generation approach to amino acid based, nitric oxide promotion products. 1-NO combines arginine and alpha- ketoglutarate (AKG) with ornithine alpha-ketoglutarate (OKG). The addition of OKG augments the NO stimulatory action of AKG by providing a secondary route to plasma arginine elevation. OKG goes beyond AKG however as it also raises plasma levels of plasma glutamine, polyamines, growth hormone and insulin.
